Day 1
Arusha National Park
A short drive to Arusha National Park for a guided walking safari with a ranger — approaching giraffe, zebra and buffalo on foot — plus the flamingo-dotted Momella Lakes and views toward Mount Meru. Continue by vehicle for colobus monkeys, warthog and bushbuck before returning to a mid-range lodge near Arusha for dinner.

Day 2
Tarangire National Park — Land of Giants
An early drive to Tarangire, famous for its massive elephant herds. Game drives along the Tarangire River — a dry-season magnet for wildlife — with lions, cheetahs, zebra and wildebeest, plus the bird-rich Silale Swamp. Picnic lunch among the baobabs, then dinner and overnight at a lodge near the park.

Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater to the Serengeti
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning among the Big Five — including the rare black rhino — with a picnic lunch by the hippo pool. In the afternoon, drive on through the Ngorongoro highlands into the Serengeti, arriving at your lodge for a warm welcome and dinner.

Full Day in the Serengeti
